The CLI Chicago Community Council supports CLI’s mission to ensure kids from any and every background have the opportunity to become powerful readers, writers, and thinkers.
By raising visibility and resources to support CLI’s work to improve early literacy instruction and student reading proficiency rates in high-need elementary schools across the city, Community Council members are actively engaged in moving the needle on literacy in Chicago’s most vulnerable communities.
