Children’s Literacy Initiative (CLI) today announced the official launch of its new visual identity and website. CLI is a non-profit organization focused on ensuring low-income students can read and write on grade level by the end of third grade.

At the heart of CLI’s new visual identity is a logo that imparts the importance of literacy and exemplifies the reputation and persona that CLI has built during its twenty-six year history. “The key represents an important message: literacy is the key to a child’s education, their well-being and their future,” said Joel Zarrow, Executive Director of Children’s Literacy Initiative. “CLI now has a symbol and color palette that reflects the well established reputation we hold in education,” said Michael Jones, Director of Marketing at CLI. “Like any other academic institution, we must ensure that our identity speaks to the right audience, clearly represents our success and authority in the field, and maintains our brand’s integrity for the school districts we have partnered with and for the ones that are just learning about us.”

As CLI embarks on an ambitious plan for growth, it felt a new visual identity was important to the success of their mission, and launches in conjunction with a new website. “This is an exciting time at CLI.  Our new website not only provides resources for teachers and families, but is also a place they can continually return to for new articles, videos and downloads” remarked Jordanne Owen, Associate Director of Program Design and Professional Development.

Parents and education professionals alike can stay informed with the latest CLI news, tips, and videos by subscribing to the CLI blog. Additionally, the News & Press section features the latest company announcements, findings and perspectives on the education landscape. Zarrow also noted, “The mission of our new website is not just to inform visitors about our work, but to connect teachers and families with the wealth of knowledge and experience we have to improve children’s literacy.”
