Join a Community Council!

Children’s Literacy Initiative Community Councils support our mission to ensure kids from any and every background have the opportunity to become powerful readers, writers and thinkers.

Community Council members are actively engaged in helping children learn to read in their communities. Acting as ambassadors, they work to build grassroots support and leverage local resources that help to improve teacher instruction and student reading proficiency rates in local, high-need elementary schools.
