In response to the pandemic, Children’s Literacy Initiative and the Houston Host Committee have reimagined this year’s Raise a Glass for Reading as a virtual event in support of distance learning.

Join us for the 2nd Annual Raise a Glass for Reading! All proceeds support early literacy distance programming for teachers and students in Houston this school year.

Give.

Give today to support our Houston teachers and students.

Become an Ambassador.

With your donation of $1,000 or more, your logo/name will have special listing in our online gratitude gallery and on this year’s commemorative pint glass.

Raise a glass.

Make a virtual toast – with whatever you are drinking – in support of reading. Capture your virtual toast in a photo or on video. Then, share it on social media using #RGRHTX or email it to give@cli.org for our gratitude gallery.

Spread the word.

Encourage friends and family to join you in supporting HISD and Aldine ISD educators by sharing what CLI’s mission means to you.

Social distancing may not have us raising our glasses together at Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co, but you can still grab food and beer to go by visiting www.buffbrew.com.
