At CLI, we believe literacy is fundamental to driving the systemic change that promotes racial equity, educational progress, and social justice. We do what we do because we know that transforming our education landscape, particularly in improving early childhood literacy, is vital to fixing a system that disproportionately hurts Black and Latinx families, perpetuates injustice, and resists change.
We give our deepest thanks to all our staff, partners, supporters and advocates of Children’s Literacy Initiative. The work that you support at CLI not only serves educators and students, it serves communities across the country by transforming early literacy education and providing resources and support to the children who need it most.
