Dr. Diana Greene Joins Children’s Literacy Initiative as New CEO
Last month, we announced a new chapter in CLI's journey, welcoming Dr. Diana Greene as our new CEO! With over 34 years of empowering educators and fostering powerful learning outcomes, her vision and experience will undoubtedly take us to greater heights in our mission to create a brighter future for children in Pre-K - grade 6 schools.

Run 4 Reading
Coming in the spring of 2024, Our NEW annual fundraising celebration, Run for Reading (R4R). R4R will be a 5K, hybrid opportunity to support our work across the country. The event will help CLI continue to transform early literacy instruction for Black and Latinx children across the country. Join us to support this movement! More details coming soon.

Dr. Greene shares the love of reading in Jacksonville, FL at the ASALH Conference
Last week, CLI's CEO, Dr. Diana Greene, participated in a book fair hosted by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) as part of its 108th Annual Conference.The conference brings together educators, students, community builders, business professionals, and others who share an abiding interest in learning about the contribution of African Americans to this nation and the world.
